I love you so much! After you guys left I cried a little bit but then I found some missionaries that took my mind off of things for a while! I love it here. It is so beautiful and the spirit is here all day long. I have met some pretty amazing examples and the elders in my district are so strong! My companion went to school with me in Rock Springs and she was a musical theater major...so lots of singing all the time. I love her. She has such a passion for the gospel it is truly amazing. We do live in casas, my casa has some of the best hermanas around! Most of them are going to New York but some of them are going to LA and Chicago too! We joke about trading gang gifts when we all leave because we are all going to some sketchy places. On the flight from Phoenix to Mexico we hit a lot of turbulance and so that was a really long flight for me but there were 45 missionaries on that flight! It was so amazing to get to talk with everyone while we were waiting to board.
Mexico City is so beautiful, the CCM is a little slice of heaven. Ill send you pictures so you can see where I get to study! Spanish is coming along quite nicely and we are teaching our first investigator. She is a special lady! Two lessons ago it was muy mal porque we forgot to pray before the lesson! Needless to say the spirit was NOT there. This last time was probably the most spiritual lesson we have ever had. My companion sang Joseph Smiths first prayer...the hymn...and it was amazing and then we taught her practically the whole time about what Joseph Smith did. The coolest part of the lesson was when I was able to answer her questions in Spanish. It was like the words just found their way out of my mouth!
I love it here, I really do and I didnt really miss you guys until Thursday night but that was only because I was feeling really crummy and thinking of myself rather than the work I am supposed to be doing here. Mom, I cried a little when I read your letter. But I know that I will be able to see you when I get back!
Ok, companion info...Hermana Jacobsen is my companion. She went to school with me in Rock Springs and was a musical theater major. She also happens to be a ginger. Things are going well with her, I mean, I still need to work on being more patient but I have always needed to work on that! Then my roomates are Hermanas Boud and Cookson. They are so funny and I love them with all of my heart! Ill send you a picture of us in front of our casa! I love our district so much! We help eachother and build eachother up! Its like my family but not as funny...
