Dear Family and Friends,
This week has been forever and a day long. In between pdays there have been 10 days. Don't recommend that very often. So since I feel a little overwhelmed, I won't be writing much about my week. Francisco got baptized, that's what is important and now they are preparing for the temple next year! keep them in their prayers please! They're awesome.
This week we won the Joliet Jaguar which is a challenge every week that our zone leaders give out. We invited the most people to church this week with a whopping 82 people! So now we have a stuffed pheasant sitting in our car for the week. That's the trophy!
Well, we were taking a picture with the familia Arteaga because my companion is leaving the area and going home and when I went to sit on the couch I accidentally sat on their 3 year old and crushed him. Whoops. He then yelled at me and proceeded to tell me I was too big. I think that might have been a fat joke but I'm not sure...
There was a meth bust across the street yesterday, it was pretty cool. The cop cars blocked the whole street and all Hermana Lewis could say was "I knew there was a drug dealer in this neighborhood!"
But I learned a lot this week as well. I got the stomach flu or something this week and so I went to get a blessing and once again Heavenly Father has instructed me to talk openly with my companion and to seek answers to my questions in the Book of Mormon. But I know Heavenly Father hears my prayers and know what I am going through. He knows my struggles and he has sent me amazing companions who know how to help me through their own experiences. It's a blessing.
Have a great week! I love you and I promise I'll write better on Monday :)
